In an exciting game, with a public in favor of the spanish, Carolina Marin (22 years) was proclaimed today (sunday 16th august 2015), for second time consecutive, global champion at badminton after defeating to the indian Saina Nehwal in two sets: 21-16 and 21-19 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The main feature of the game was the enormous pressure from the indian player, attacking from the beginning with "winner" hits, but the technique of the spanish was verry strong, it was her main feature to master to the indian, and, finally, to win the game.

Carolina, achieved her second world championship, wich makes her the first no-asiatic who conquest two global badminton competitions, one second gold full of hope to validate in the Rio Olympic Games from the next year.

Everybody sees in Carolina the femenine version of Rafael Nadal, for its winner, competitive and fighter disposition, both left-handed.

"He fights for all the balls, I do for all the shuttlecocks, and until we are dead we don't give one by lost" says the new global champion.

Travis Pastrana is a motorcycle competitor of super cross, motocross, freestyle motocross and rally racing that won a lot of gold medals in the XGAMES and is considered a big representing of those games. Also he is an important represent of Red Bull.
The reason of why I’m talking about him is because he was the protagonist of a very important event that consist in spin on a motorcycle 720° degrees, that it’s to say a double back flip. This was so important because if the double back flip was successful Travis would be the first man in the world that does this awesome maneuver.
Finally Pastrana did this risky maneuver and all the people and spectators got crazy because of this great event.
Of course his mother was crying before and after he jumped, but after he did the big exploit she finally quieted down because she knew that his son was safe and sound.

And that was my remarkable moment in a sport...in this case a motorcycle stunt...see ya teacher

A year ago, no one thought of him as a candidate to win the 100-meter race at the Games in Beijing. A year earlier, the real fight was raised between the two monarchs in the world: the American Tyson Gay and Jamaican Asafa Powell. At that point, Usain Bolt, also born in Jamaica, was a good runner of 200 meters, but its explosion arrived in May 2008. He first achieved unexpected as impressive as in the 100 meter sprint times. Then he dragged his domain to 200. He came to the Olympics with some favoritism, but with a lot to prove to be a very young athlete-at that time, just 21 years and somewhat lazy fame. Speaking at the final 100 meters, however, it was the most impressive performance of a sprinter in the history of a discipline that is considered the Olympic queen. He won the gold. He did a world record. He did it with almost comic facility overwhelming: in the shortest of all, where every detail makes a difference, he had time to open his arms, beat his chest and slow down before reaching the goal. Still, he managed the best record of all time: 9 seconds and 69 hundredths. This is the performance that will serve as a measure of any future action in the velocismo worldwide, the new standard of perfection. Still, Bolt will still remain lower the world record in the 200 meters for his second gold (with 19.30 seconds, broke the mark of Michael Johnson that led force 12 years) and pulverizing the world record 4x100 relay along with his teammates in Jamaica. Today is the biggest star that has the world athletics. And if not achieved with what has already been achieved, in case warns: "I want to surprise the world in London 2012".

  32. Well now i’m gonna tell about basketball, in simple words is a sport that are played with a 5 persons v/s 5 persons and they try to throw a ball to opposite hoop.
In chile to carry out a first championship of woman on the worldwide in 1953, even the “cold war” of united estates and urss this is so important the championship started in march 7, 1953 and finished in march 22, 1953. In chile had organisated this championship problem intern and reforms inside of the state.
The championship ends with EEUU of first place, chile second place and france third place. This competency had 31 matches and 2275 points (hoop) with a promedy of match about 73,39 for matches
The team of chile (womans) is not very “talentous” and don’t has a lot of medals or price of championships but in 1953 they losed in the finals with EEUU and they losed and took the second places and this championship is the only podium of chile team (womans) in international competency for this is a important event about Chilean history of sport
Now in the panamerican games the Chilean team go home for Puerto rico 66 to 92 and they get eliminated and throwed to the trash the dream of medal and that’s all

  33. Hi Teacher
For me the best moment in the history it’s in Olympics games happened in London 2012 when The Scotch tennis-player Andy Murray surprised critics and winner the golden medal of the singles of brilliant form taking the option from Federer to obtain the only title that it has not obtained in his brilliant career. In semi-finals he conquered the Serbian Novak Djokovic and in the final it annihilated the Swiss Roger Federer in three sets followed, gaining the first great title of his career. Another semi-final Roger Federer faced the Argentinian Juan Martin Del Potro In four hours and 26 minutes, the number one of the world in this Roger Federer at the time won for 3-6, 7-6 and 19-17, in the longest match of the history of tennis to better of three sets. All the critics and the houses of bet were giving for the Swiss winning due to the fact that in Wimbledon Roger already there had won the Scot the final of the second one and more former grand slam of the year. Roger was loading with the pressure of being the favorite, thing that I notice on having committed mistakes that in another tournament it had not committed, mistakes of that I take advantage Murray to achieve the victory in his territory

  34. Hey there!!;
Of course one of the best moments in olympic games was Usain Bolt's second record. The Jamaican shattered the world record again, running 100 meters in 9.58 seconds at the world championships to turn his much-anticipated race against Tyson Gay into a one-man show.
That was 0.11 seconds faster than the mark he set last year at the Beijing Olympics the biggest improvement in the 100-meter record since electronic timing began in 1968.
Gay, his closest rival, broke the American mark with his 9.71 performance and still looked like he was jogging, finishing a few big strides behind Bolt in second place. It seems like just Bolt can beat Bolt.Gay didn't have much of a chance. Not against Bolt. And certainly not with a groin injury that he admitted . He said it was worse than he let on, but refused to use it as a convenient excuse.A lot of experienced people calls bolt an anomaly, because of his non-aerodynamic body, he is shorter and "chubbier" than an average runner.
